This is a contract, on-site position based in Riyadh for a Senior Trainer focused on Energy Trading & Blockchain Technologies. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering advanced training programs to professionals at various expertise levels.

Role Responsibilities

The Senior Trainer will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and delivering advanced training programs on energy trading markets, derivatives, risk management, and blockchain applications in the energy sector.
• Creating comprehensive training materials, including case studies, practical labs, and realistic simulations.
• Conducting in-person workshops and certification programs for diverse audiences.
• Tailoring training content to meet the needs of learners from novice to experienced professionals.
• Assessing learner needs to ensure training relevance and effectiveness.
• Evaluating training program effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
• Updating training content regularly to reflect industry changes and regulatory updates.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to align training programs with strategic business objectives.
• Providing advisory input on curriculum design, training strategy, and emerging technology trends in the energy and blockchain domains.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

• Strong expertise in energy trading, including physical and financial energy markets, derivatives, pricing, and risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies, such as distributed ledgers and smart contracts, and their applications within energy trading.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering professional training programs, workshops, and courses to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality training content, including presentations, manuals, exercises, labs, and assessments.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Experience working in or with the energy, utilities, commodities, or financial services sectors is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and modern instructional design methodologies is considered an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications or industry certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in client-facing interactions and the ability to adapt content and delivery methods to diverse audiences.
