HDR is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this position, you will provide comprehensive transportation engineering services to a diverse range of clients, including transit agencies, highway authorities, state agencies, cities, and counties, shaping the future of transportation infrastructure and planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert transportation engineering services for transit, highway, state agencies, cities, and counties.
• Manage corridor studies, forecast modeling, traffic analysis, transportation planning, and impact fee development.
• Effectively assimilate and manage project-related data.
• Collect necessary project-related data through research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map review, land use surveys, and socioeconomic analysis.
• Prepare constraints mapping to inform project development.
• Prepare required documentation, including categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, environmental impact studies, and other technical reports.
• Assist in and actively participate in public information meetings and hearings.
• Perform other duties as needed to support project and team objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation planning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and personnel effectively.
• Solid business development skills, with a proven ability to relate well to clients.
• Demonstrated presentation skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
