TAVI GCC Therapy Leader

About the Role

Abbott is seeking a TAVI GCC Therapy Leader to drive commercial growth, market development, and strategic execution for the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) business across the GCC region. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 4-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves commercial leadership, clinical understanding, account management, and cross-functional coordination to expand patient access and achieve business objectives.

Divisional Context: Structural Heart

The Structural Heart (SH) division focuses on restoring health and improving quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. This role contributes to the division's mission by leading the TAVI therapy initiatives across the GCC region, which includes Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the GCC TAVI commercial strategy to achieve sales, market share, and profitability targets.
• Identify growth opportunities and create territory development plans across GCC countries.
• Drive procedure growth through strategic account planning and customer engagement.
• Monitor competitive activities and implement effective counterstrategies.
• Forecast sales performance and manage business pipelines accurately.

Therapy Development and Market Access

• Partner with healthcare institutions to expand TAVI program adoption.
• Support the development of new TAVI centers and enhance utilization within existing centers.
• Identify barriers to patient access and collaborate with stakeholders to improve referral pathways.
• Drive awareness of TAVI therapy among physicians, hospital administrators, and healthcare decision-makers.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated commercial leadership and strategic execution capabilities.
• Understanding of clinical aspects related to Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI).
• Experience in account management and cross-functional coordination.

Work Environment
