We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Waiter to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences while leading and inspiring our wait staff.

Responsibilities:

• Lead by example, prioritizing memorable guest experiences and motivating team members.
• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the dining area.
• Act as a liaison between the dining room and kitchen, handling requests and inquiries from guests and staff.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and special events.
• Train and mentor new wait staff, ensuring adherence to service standards.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management and cost control measures.
• Contribute to the development of new service procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy restaurant or upscale dining establishment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and guest needs.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including POS systems and reservation management software.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Team player with a supportive and collaborative approach.
• Familiarity with local cuisine and customs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (preferred).
• Food safety certification (preferred).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
