The safety and occupational health engineer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for employees. This includes identifying potential hazards, developing and implementing safety procedures, training staff, overseeing compliance with regulations, investigating incidents, and the engineer evaluates the work environment to identify potential hazards to health and occupational safety, and develops and implements safety and occupational health plans and procedures. (Holds an OSHA certificate, holds a NEBOSH certificate).
