Job Purpose:
To act as the driving force in generating revenue through planning sales activities as per the business strategy. This role involves analyzing the market, identifying and acquiring new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and supporting product distribution channels.

This role involves analyzing the market, identifying and acquiring new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and supporting product distribution channels.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Policies and Procedures: Recommend improvements to departmental policies and support in implementing procedures and controls.
- Sales: Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets, resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service, and develop a pricing schedule.
- Travel throughout the assigned area to meet with regular and prospective customers, conduct sales presentations, and check on competitive activity.
- Investigate lost projects and customer accounts, assist with planning sales exhibits, and prepare/ present sales reports to management.
- Maintain strong business relationships with clients and keep informed of new products and services.
- Attend trade shows to build business relations and resolve non-engineering project issues during execution.
- Build and promote strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Strategy & Planning:
- Manage recruitment, objective setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the sales team.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Search for new business opportunities and design/implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports to management, and identify emerging markets and market shifts.
Staff Development:
- Identify areas for improvement in subordinates, provide coaching and constructive feedback.
- Recommend training needs to bridge skill gaps.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other job-related projects/assignments as requested by management.
