Key Responsibilities:- Receive work assignment, keys and supplies from the supervisor and sign the key log book accurately.
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Ensure fire exits and stairways are clear of any obstruction.
- Report any maintenance work required immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness in corridors and pathways by picking up litter.
- Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, and empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
- Make beds and clean sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
- Replenish bathroom and room supplies.
- Tidy guest toilet articles and spot clean carpets when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
- Manage Room Service trays and inform valet service for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services.
Skills and Qualifications:You should ideally have vocational training within the Housekeeping Department of a hotel. A good command of English is an advantage. The ideal candidate will be friendly, caring, dedicated, and possess good cross-cultural sensitivity with a passion for customer service.
