Purpose:The Service Technician is primarily responsible for visiting field customers and carrying out reported maintenance jobs as per the job orders received from the Call Centre/Fleet In charge.
Responsibilities:- Perform field service jobs as received from the Call Centre/Fleet in charge.
- Follow customer reported ‘service needs’ recorded on the job cards.
- Report additional problems identified during inspection to supervisors immediately for further advice.
- Test-run the unit to ensure satisfactory completion of the service job.
- Ensure job completion to the customer’s satisfaction and hand over accordingly.
- Return the job card to the CIC Coordinator upon returning from the field.
- Obtain Customer Feedback using the prescribed form in the QMS.
- Ensure necessary tools, consumables, and spares are available in the service vehicle.
- Maintain a good relationship with customers through professional behaviour and performance.
- Strictly adhere to prescribed safety practices & use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) provided.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure “Vehicles Preventive Maintenance Checklist” is implemented.
Requirements:- Diploma in Refrigeration & air-conditioning or Home Appliances (Minimum 2 years with academic certificate).
- Minimum 5 years experience in air conditioning maintenance and/or Home appliances.
- Possess a 4-wheel driving license.
- Able to self-drive for field service.
- Good English communication skills for job processes.
- Fast learner and ready to learn new technology and multi products.
