Job PurposeThe Industrial Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing mechanical systems - including conveyors, pumps, and milling machinery — to ensure high equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous plant operations.
Key Accountabilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems within milling equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, ensuring timely corrective action to minimize downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities, spare part usage, and equipment performance in ERP systems.
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and production lines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute scheduled maintenance efficiently.
- Train and guide junior technicians in mechanical maintenance procedures and safety practices.
- Assist in spare parts inventory control and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager in alignment with business needs.
- Uphold the company’s code of conduct, ethics, and compliance with Saudi labor and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, preferably in milling or feed operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems specific to flour or feed plants is an advantage.
- Experience using ERP systems (preferably SAP) is a plus.
