Job Summary:Your primary responsibilities will include supervising subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, managing day-to-day operations, and maintaining safety standards on-site. You will interpret construction drawings, prepare technical documents, and provide guidance on technical submissions from subcontractors.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Inspect construction processes including waterproofing, finishing works, and structural installations.
- Monitor material deliveries, conduct safety checks, and oversee labor activities.
- Communicate with clients to resolve any drawing or documentation issues.
- Rectify design errors in collaboration with the site engineer.
- Ensure construction quality adheres to the project specifications and ITP.
- Coordinate with various departments to address any interface issues.
- Prepare estimates for costs and quantities as well as technical submittals.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients and participate in site inspections.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Previous construction experience in oil, gas, petrochemical, or power plants in a supervisory role, preferably in the Middle East.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction management standards and building structures. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software is essential.
