Role Overview:
This is a full-time on-site position for a Line Chef in Jeddah. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality dishes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to food safety standards, collaborate with the kitchen team for timely food production, and assist in menu planning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work station.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices.
• Work closely with the kitchen team for efficient food production.
• Assist in developing and planning the menu.

Qualifications:

• Proficient culinary skills, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a creative approach to food presentation.
• Previous experience as a Line Chef is preferred.

Your Impact and Responsibilities:
As a Chef de Partie-Pastry at IHG Hotels & Resorts, you will play a crucial role in crafting unforgettable culinary experiences. You will lead and inspire a team of pastry staff while ensuring the kitchen operates seamlessly.

Your Daily Activities Will Include:

• Leading a team of pastry chefs and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Designing and executing a diverse range of pastry items, from desserts to custom creations for special occasions.
• Innovating new techniques and flavors to keep the dessert menu fresh and exciting.
• Mentoring pastry team members and overseeing quality control.
• Managing ingredient purchases and inventory to ensure optimal freshness and quality.

Your Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef, ideally in a luxury or fine dining setting.
• Formal training from a culinary school, with emphasis on pastry arts.
• A deep passion for pastry creation and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience in managing culinary teams.
• Knowledge of advanced pastry techniques including sugar work and chocolate tempering.

Ganache is a Saudi limited liability company dedicated to crafting contemporary concepts within the Food & Beverage sector, integrating local culture to create memorable culinary experiences. As an R&D Chef, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our offerings and aligning them with market trends.

Job Purpose:
Your primary responsibility will be to develop innovative food products and refine existing recipes, focusing on improving taste, texture, and nutritional value while ensuring consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of new food products, enhancing taste, texture, and nutritional value.
• Research food trends and emerging ingredients to inspire new product ideas.
• Conduct sensory testing and consumer data analysis to improve existing products.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure consumer preferences are met in product development.
• Ensure all safety and quality standards are followed during product development.

Job Specifications:

• Educational Level: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 1015 years in culinary development or a related field; ISO 22000, FSMS, or HACCP certification required.
• Skills: Leadership, communication, organization, creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Arabic and English.
