Role Overview:
This is a full-time on-site position for a Line Chef in Jeddah. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality dishes, maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to food safety standards, collaborate with the kitchen team for timely food production, and assist in menu planning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work station.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices.
• Work closely with the kitchen team for efficient food production.
• Assist in developing and planning the menu.

Qualifications:

• Proficient culinary skills, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a creative approach to food presentation.
• Previous experience as a Line Chef is preferred.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop the hotel's reputation by ensuring exceptional food quality and management of the kitchen team.
• Oversee kitchen operations including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Lead the kitchen brigade and foster ongoing team development.
• Create menus that meet and exceed customer needs while adhering to brand standards.
• Manage customer relations by proactively interacting with guests and ensuring satisfaction.
• Implement effective food control systems to maintain margins and meet financial targets.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong previous experience as an Executive Chef or high-performing Sous Chef in a first-class property.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• A creative and business-focused approach to managing a hotel kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines effectively.
• Current and relevant trade qualification.

• Leading a team of pastry chefs and fostering a collaborative environment.

Your Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pastry Chef, ideally in a luxury or fine dining setting.
• Formal training from a culinary school, with emphasis on pastry arts.
• A deep passion for pastry creation and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience in managing culinary teams.
• Knowledge of advanced pastry techniques including sugar work and chocolate tempering.
