In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of retail technology systems, resolving incidents, and supporting our staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide L1 technical support for retail systems including POS, payment devices, and end-user devices.
- Manage incidents and service requests using our ITSM ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to store IT systems and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Support daily operations of POS terminals and troubleshoot transactions and connectivity issues.
- Assist with the maintenance and setup of store IT infrastructure.
- Document troubleshooting steps and maintain knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with store teams to resolve IT-related challenges.
Required Qualifications & Skills:- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in retail environments.
- Technical knowledge of POS systems and retail tech.
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Retail POS systems like Retail Pro or Oracle Retail.
- Understanding of ERP integrations (SAP or similar).
- Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.
