Job Summary:
The 1st Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining Valmet paper machines to ensure smooth production of high-quality tissue products. The ideal candidate should have experience in the tissue manufacturing industry and a thorough understanding of machine operation, troubleshooting, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor Valmet machines to ensure efficient production of tissue paper.
  • Maintain product quality and adhere to production specifications and standards.
  • Perform routine machine checks, preventive maintenance, and minor troubleshooting to avoid downtime.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for smooth operations.
  • Record production data and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist in training and guiding junior operators, if required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in machine operation are a plus.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating paper machines, preferably in the tissue industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Valmet machines is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate with the maintenance team.
