Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:
  Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and organizational policies. Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, and coordinate with audit teams.
• General Ledger & Accounting Operations:
  Maintain and reconcile the general ledger. Accurately post journal entries and review accounting entries prepared by junior staff.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis:
  Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting, providing variance analysis and supporting financial modeling.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
  Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations and collection activities.
• Process Improvement & Systems:
  Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in ERP implementations.
• Team Leadership & Support:
  Mentor junior accounting staff and review deliverables for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.
Experience: 5+ years in progressive accounting roles.

The general accountant in the salon will be responsible for managing daily accounts, including revenues, expenses, and the cash register, with accurate follow-up on daily and monthly financial reports to ensure clarity of financial performance. He is also responsible for preparing salaries and commissions, especially concerning the commission system for female employees, monitoring sales and linking them with the Fresha system to ensure data accuracy and integration. His tasks also include monitoring inventory and costs in terms of products and consumption, and preparing financial statements such as profits and losses on a regular basis. In addition, he coordinates with management regarding goals and targets, and follows up on government obligations such as insurance for female employees, ensuring full compliance with regulations and achieving high operational efficiency.
