Role Purpose
To manage end-to-end procurement and logistics activities, including vendor and supplier contracts, import shipment processing, and regulatory approvals, while ensuring effective coordination with internal stakeholders and finance to complete the procurement cycle. The role also involves streamlining existing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement to meet internal customer needs efficiently.

Job Accountabilities & Activities
  • Searching and evaluating Vendors and Suppliers to fulfill BCL Procurement & Logistics needs.
  • Receiving PR and issuing POs.
  • Negotiating the price and other purchasing terms.
  • Following up with suppliers/Vendors for Good delivery.
  • Following up with BCL Finance for Supplier payments.
  • Processing of new vendors/suppliers account opening in BCL ERP Systems.
  • Dealing with complete process of all BCL import shipments.
  • Dealing with complete process of regulatory approvals needed for BCL import shipments.

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in any related field.

Required Years Of Experience
3+ Years working experience in operations or on supply chain management systems.

Candidate Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience in a central purchasing role, with proven focus in construction materials and safety.
  • Preferred candidates should be engineers (any relevant engineering discipline) and hold accredited professional certifications in procurement (*, CIPS, CPSM or equivalent).
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with internal parties and global suppliers.
  • Must currently reside in Dammam.
  • Advanced skills in using procurement-related ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
