Job Overview:
The Procurement Officer at Evostel will play a critical role in sourcing and managing the procurement of materials and services required for our projects in the Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Water, and Power sectors. This role requires strong expertise in procurement, vendor management, cost analysis, and risk management, along with the ability to ensure the timely and compliant delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the industry’s standards and regulations and will work closely with the internal teams to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Support: Provide assistance for pre-sales requests by sourcing accurate item cost estimates and quotations.
• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and lead times.
• Import Experience: Handle the procurement process for international goods, ensuring compliance with import regulations.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Establish and manage local and international vendor relationships.
• Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness in procurement decisions.
• Coordination with Logistics & Inventory: Work closely with logistics and inventory teams to ensure efficient delivery.
• Purchasing & Order Management: Oversee and manage the entire purchasing process.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
• Budgeting: Support budgeting efforts by providing accurate cost estimates.
• Procurement Log Management: Maintain a detailed procurement log to track all purchasing activities.
• On-Time Delivery Assurance: Monitor delivery timelines and take corrective action.
• Planning, Reporting & Documentation: Develop procurement plans and prepare regular procurement reports.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred) or a similar field.
• Experience: At least 35 years of experience in procurement in relevant sectors.
• Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
