At Afex Logistics, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to drive our sales strategy in the heavy transportation and logistics sector within Dammam, Eastern Saudi Arabia. At Afex Logistics, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to drive our sales strategy in the heavy transportation and logistics sector within Dammam, Eastern Saudi Arabia. As a key player in our team, you will implement effective sales strategies and build strong relationships with our clients, helping to expand our business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and business drivers.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging markets, industry trends, and competition status.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, managing key accounts.
- Provide weekly EOEs and monthly sales reports to the General Manager regarding sales performance, goals, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide sales targets.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to expand business opportunities.
- Analyze sales team performance and schedule training or refresher sessions accordingly.
- Record and track all sales activities in the company CRM system, ensuring regular updates.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to meet shipping deadlines and liaise with forwarders, shipping agents, and port agents for necessary documentation.
- Manage a network of vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Work alongside the team to develop strategies for increasing the customer base and expanding market reach.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales within the heavy transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of land transportation, oversized cargo handling, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive sales approach.
- Experience using CRM and logistics software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- A degree or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
