About the Role

KONE, recognized as a Top Employer, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - Modernization to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to driving KONE's order book and profitability through proactive customer relationship management, identifying and closing sales opportunities with both existing and new clients, and ensuring customer needs are met. The position requires a driven individual with strong commercial acumen, a proven record of sales success, and a commitment to building customer trust, value, and loyalty. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and cultivate strong customer relationships within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Strengthen KONE's market position within the assigned customer base or market area.
  • Identify and communicate leads and sales opportunities to the broader KONE sales team to facilitate cross-selling initiatives.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and effectively resolve complaints in collaboration with the KONE team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and contact information within KONE's systems.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to achieve sales budget and pricing targets.
  • Validate that all aspects of received customer orders align with negotiation outcomes, including terms and conditions, quality, and safety standards.
  • Ensure a seamless handover to installation, maintenance, and/or engineering teams by providing complete and accurate information.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all opportunities, tasks, and customer visits.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reporting.
  • Support the finance function in the collection of payments.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, diligent, and organized self-starter with a strong orientation towards high-level customer service.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze customer needs effectively.
  • A passion for sales, supported by a proven track record and a strong customer focus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
