Commercial Cards Product & Implementation Consultant

About the Role

A Global Cards & Payments firm is seeking a Commercial Cards Product & Implementation Consultant for a contract role in Jeddah, Makkah. This position involves working directly with a leading financial institution in Saudi Arabia to support the development, implementation, optimization, and commercialization of its Corporate and SME card portfolio. The consultant will act as a bridge between various internal and external teams, translating business requirements into executable solutions and driving initiatives from concept through deployment and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of Corporate and SME credit, prepaid, and commercial-card propositions.
• Translate business needs into detailed product, process, and functional requirements.
• Coordinate implementation across business, technology, operations, and external vendor teams.
• Develop and coordinate UAT and business test scenarios for end-to-end journeys, including defect management.
• Support the onboarding and migration of Corporate and SME card clients, and monitor post-launch adoption.
• Perform portfolio and opportunity analysis, developing business cases for product launches and optimization.
• Help establish scalable operating and servicing models for Commercial Cards, defining roles and responsibilities.
• Work directly with senior stakeholders across the financial institution and partner organizations, managing project trackers and reporting.

Required Experience and Knowledge

• 7+ years of relevant experience in banking, payments, cards, fintech, or financial-services consulting.
• Strong practical experience with Commercial Cards, Corporate Cards, SME Cards, Business Cards, or B2B payments.
• Working knowledge of both credit and prepaid card products.
• Demonstrated experience taking initiatives through requirements, development, UAT, production, and commercialization.
• Strong Business Analyst, Product Management, or implementation experience within a bank, payment network, processor, or fintech.
• Experience coordinating technology implementation and working with internal IT teams and external vendors.
• Experience conducting UAT, managing defects, and supporting production releases.
• Experience interacting directly with business and product stakeholders in a financial institution.

Skills and Attributes

This role requires a strong combination of commercial-card product knowledge, business analysis, technology implementation, UAT and testing, process design, portfolio analytics, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on and client-embedded, capable of translating complex business requirements into actionable solutions and driving projects to successful completion.
