About the Role
As a Controls & Electrical Supervisor at Vanderlande, you will oversee electrical equipment installations and controls commissioning activities for small project sites. Your leadership will ensure safety and quality on-site, contributing significantly to the success of each project.

Responsibilities
  • Installation Supervision: Organize and supervise onsite electrical activities such as Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of electrical components for Vanderlande material handling projects, ensuring compliance with project schedules.
  • Controls Activities: Install PLC/HMIs, execute support commissioning activities, and perform controls troubleshooting.
  • Guidance: Provide clear directives to the installation team, ensuring that work adheres to quality standards.
  • Safety Focus: Foster a culture of safety and organize HSE activities on-site.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site walks and quality checks.
  • Reporting & Coordination: Monitor team progress and report regularly to the site manager, ensuring effective coordination with all stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve site management processes and contribute to team skills enhancement.

Desired Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in executing material handling projects in controls commissioning or electrical site supervision.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical components and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings.
  • Experience with PLC systems, hardware modifications, and understanding communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in engineering, preferably electrical or electronic engineering.

Travel: This position may require travel to project sites based on project needs.
