About the Role

Al-Futtaim Automotive, a key division of the Al-Futtaim Group, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join its Body Shop operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing prompt and competitive repair estimates to enhance customer service for both end-users and insurance companies. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure estimate approvals and efficient work execution. You will act as a representative of the Service Department, building trust with stakeholders. Success will be measured by achieving financial targets, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring operational efficiency, which may involve extended working hours and robust communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned jobs according to established work standards, specifications, and required timeframes.
• Maintain professional conduct and hospitality when interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Achieve a minimum of 80% approval rate for estimated vehicles.
• Collect all necessary and reliable information from customers to support the evaluation and assessment of damaged vehicles.
• Provide customers with estimates for required repairs and negotiate repair charges.
• Achieve monthly financial targets for labor hours, parts, and other sales.
• Manage and monitor work in progress to ensure timely delivery of vehicles and remind customers about upcoming service due dates.
• Work extended hours as required by business operations, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree from a Technical School, or a Certificate or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or a similar role.
• Ability to serve as a reliable consultant and provide up-to-date technical information to customers.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Computer literacy and driving skills are essential.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, a dynamic nature, and a well-groomed/presentable personality with a positive attitude towards customer service.
