As part of our vibrant team at Rosewood Jeddah, a prestigious hotel situated in the heart of Jeddah, we are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in creating culinary excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews, hire, evaluate, reward, and discipline kitchen staff.
  • Orient and train kitchen personnel on property and department rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Instruct kitchen colleagues in food production methods and practices.
  • Establish quality standards for all menu items and food production practices.
  • Plan and price menus, determining portion sizes and service standards.
  • Schedule kitchen colleagues based on business forecasts and budget considerations.
  • Maintain payroll records.
  • Train colleagues in safe operating procedures for all kitchen equipment and establish maintenance schedules.
  • Provide training on safety protocols, including first aid and CPR.
  • Implement sanitation practices, cleaning schedules, and stock rotation methods.
  • Guide colleagues in preparing food while preserving nutrients and accommodating special dietary requests.
