Join Kidana as a Senior Manager - Internal Audit
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Senior Manager to lead and deliver specialized audit engagements across various technical and operational sectors including Projects, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), Asset Management, and other support functions.

Role Main Purpose
The Senior Manager will independently develop the risk-based internal audit plan for technical and related functions, execute audits, evaluate operational risks, validate adherence to engineering standards, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role also identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong knowledge of KIDANA’s technical operations and emerging risks.
  • Independently perform comprehensive audit activities including planning, fieldwork, documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks to develop a strategic risk-based audit plan.
  • Analyze audit results and identify weaknesses in internal controls to prepare management recommendations.
  • Coordinate with outsourced audit firms and technical experts during specialist engagements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide leadership in workforce planning and performance management within the internal audit department.

Qualifications
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Architectural Engineering or related field) and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in internal audit with 5 years in a leadership role. Technical certificates such as CIA or PMP are preferred.
