About the role:
Join Grand Hyatt The Red Sea as a Sous Chef - Pastry, where you will play a pivotal role in the efficient running of our pastry department. You will work in alignment with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards while ensuring that employee, guest, and owner expectations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of all pastry products in the French Cafe.
- Ensure that the pastry section contributes to the overall success of our outlets and banquets in accordance with the hotel’s standards and financial goals.
- Excelling in creating high-end desserts for specialty restaurants, maintaining high pastry standards in banqueting and breakfast buffets.
- Utilize your excellent knowledge of French pastry techniques to deliver outstanding baked goods.
Qualifications:
- Professional diploma in Food Production with a pastry specialization.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a French cafe.
- Strong operational, administrative, and practical skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- GCC experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
