As a leader in the construction machinery sector, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Specialist to drive our growth and establish a strong presence in the market. If you are passionate about sales and customer relationships, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the heavy machinery sector; develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective prospecting and lead generation; meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers; understand client needs and provide tailored solutions; conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and secure repeat business.
- Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Stay updated on heavy machinery products and industry trends; conduct product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers; provide technical assistance and support during the sales process.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve mutually beneficial sales agreements; prepare and present proposals, contracts, and agreements; close sales and ensure smooth handover to the operations team.
- Market Research & Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities; provide feedback on market developments and potential growth areas; assist in marketing strategy development and promotional campaigns.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate sales activity records; prepare regular sales reports and forecasts; ensure timely completion of documentation and contracts.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a Sales Specialist role within the Road, Mining, hoisting, or Earth Moving Products/Machinery sector.
