About the Role

Unilever is seeking a SHE Supervisor to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs across its non-manufacturing operations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Makkah (Jeddah, Makkah), requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture within Go-To-Market operations, including offices, warehouses, and transportation.

Role Purpose and Scope

The SHE Supervisor will play a key role in upholding Unilever's SHE standards and local regulations across all non-manufacturing sites. The primary objective is to ensure a safe and healthy working environment, minimize environmental impact, and drive continuous improvement in SHE performance within the specified operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Unilever SHE policies and local legal requirements in offices, warehouses, and transportation operations.
• Maintain and update SHE documentation, risk assessments, and legal registers for non-manufacturing sites.
• Support audits and inspections, tracking and closing corrective actions.
• Conduct SHE risk assessments for offices, warehouses, and logistics partners.
• Implement controls for fire safety, chemical storage, ergonomics, and occupational health in non-manufacturing environments.
• Monitor contractor and transporter compliance with SHE standards.
• Develop and implement road safety programs for transporters and company vehicles.
• Monitor driver behavior, vehicle conditions, and compliance with journey management protocols.
• Lead initiatives to reduce road traffic incidents and improve fleet safety performance.
• Deliver SHE training for office staff, warehouse teams, and transport partners.
• Promote awareness campaigns on health, safety, and environmental topics.
• Support emergency preparedness drills and first-aid training.
• Track SHE KPIs for non-manufacturing operations, including incident rates, near misses, and road safety metrics.
• Prepare monthly reports and share insights for continuous improvement.
• Support sustainability initiatives related to waste, energy, and carbon reduction in offices and warehouses.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Safety, Health, and Environment management, preferably within non-manufacturing or logistics environments. A strong understanding of SHE policies, local regulations, and risk management principles is essential. Experience in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting training, and monitoring performance metrics is required.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working across various non-manufacturing sites, including offices and warehouses, and interacting with transportation partners.
