Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers as they enter.
  • Provide customers with drink menus and answer questions regarding ingredients.
  • Take orders while paying attention to details, such as preferences for coffee blends, dairy, and sugar ratios.
  • Prepare beverages following standardized recipes.
  • Serve beverages and prepared food items including cookies, pastries, and muffins.
  • Receive and process payments, handling both cash and credit cards.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized.
  • Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
  • Check brewing equipment for proper operation and report any maintenance needs.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

Requirements and Skills:
  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role, such as Waiter/Waitress.
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments.
  • Ability to gauge customer preferences and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A high school diploma; relevant training is a plus.
