As a Pastry Chef at Hilton, you will operate the pastry section of the kitchen to deliver an excellent guest and member experience while planning production and developing seasonal offerings. Your role is essential in ensuring quality and creativity throughout our dessert offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in running the pastry section of the kitchen.
  • Ensure excellent quality throughout dessert offerings.
  • Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation.
  • Plan production to facilitate daily requirements.
  • Develop appropriate seasonal menu offerings.
  • Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A minimum of 2 years as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef Experience with high volume food production.
  • Strong supervisory skills and a creative approach to pastry.
  • A current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required).
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and exceptional grooming standards.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in Culinary or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a hands-on, inspiring approach.
  • Deep understanding of classic and modern pastry techniques, with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to manage high-volume production while maintaining artisanal quality.
