Job Title: Senior Structural/Architectural Engineer (International Liaison)

Job Summary:

The role requires a highly experienced Structural or Architectural Engineer with a

minimum of 15 years of experience, fluent in English, to act as the primary liaison

between the local firm and partner offices in India, Pakistan, and Malaysia. The

engineer will facilitate collaboration on projects, ensuring technical alignment and

successful project execution.

1. Academic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture from an

accredited university.

- A Master’s degree in Project Management (MBA/PMP) or an advanced

specialization in Structural/Architectural Design is a plus.

2. Professional Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in structural or architectural design, particularly

in large-scale projects.

- Proven experience in collaborating with international consulting firms (especially

in India, Pakistan, Malaysia).

- Experience in managing multinational engineering teams and coordinating

between different offices.

- Familiarity with international design and construction codes (American, British,

European, or Gulf standards).

3. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in engineering software:

- Structural: ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, ******, Revit Structure.

-Architectural: AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, 3D Max, SketchUp.

- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling).

- Understanding of quality control and international project specifications.

4. Language & Communication Skills:

- Fluent in English (written and spoken); certifications like IELTS/TOEFL are

preferred if English is not the native language.

- Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations in English.

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to establish successful partnerships.

- Basic knowledge of Urdu or Malay is beneficial but not mandatory.

5. Managerial & Commercial Skills:

- Familiarity with international contract systems (*, FIDIC ).

- Experience in preparing technical and financial proposals for projects.

- Understanding of the markets in India, Pakistan, and Malaysia , including:

- Design and consultancy costs.

- Local construction laws and regulations.

- Business culture in these regions.

6. Personal Skills:

- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate projects across different time

zones.

- Leadership and motivational skills to manage remote teams effectively.

- Willingness to travel if required for partner office visits.

7. Preferred Certifications:

- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent.

- Project Management Professional (PMP).

- Quality & Safety Certifications (*, LEED, ISO).

Key Responsibilities:

§ Communicating with international offices to establish consultancy

partnerships.

§ Reviewing technical proposals for joint projects.

§ Coordinating between local and foreign teams to ensure design quality.
