Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and reconcile deposited envelopes from the Front Office safe on a daily basis.
• Open the Front Office safe with a designated finance employee and Front Office Manager/Night Manager each morning.
• Report any missing envelopes immediately to the Director of Finance/Financial Controller.
• Check each item in the envelopes against the list and document any differences.
• Liaise with the money exchange company for currency exchanges.

Qualifications:

• A degree in hotel management or accounting.
• At least one year of prior experience within a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Computer literacy; knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is advantageous.

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Cashier to join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott Makkah. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry and mathematical accuracy.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Audit cashier banks periodically according to SOPs.
• Maintain petty cash and contracts, documenting all cash variances.
• Act as liaison between the property and banking services.
• Participate in internal and external audits ensuring compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
