Join adidas as a Retail Inventory Controller
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in monitoring and maintaining the levels of inventory across systems, stores, and warehouses. Your contributions will ensure that correct retail controls and procedures are implemented at the store level, delivering accurate inventory information to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run inventory reports daily, weekly, or monthly and perform detailed analyses of item performance.
  • Develop and enhance the inventory reporting structure.
  • Identify and report on high and low turn inventory items.
  • Control inventory adjustments, including quantity and price variance analysis.
  • Conduct diligent investigations to resolve problems in systems.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, both internal and external.
  • Minimize inaccuracies in store stock data.
  • Drive the stock audit process from planning to execution.
  • Accurately manage stock items and revenue in alignment with SAP.
  • Work proactively to propose process changes to prevent irregularities.
  • Manage the receiving and shipping of inventory into and out of the company's warehouse.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Shrinkage targets met annually.
  • Uniforms & damages adjusted monthly.
  • Investigation results reported within 48 hours.
  • System alignment results between 98%-100% monthly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree or diploma.
  • 3-4 years of experience in retail inventory control.
  • Experience in the sports/consumer goods industry.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Certification: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is a plus. Additional certifications (CISA, CRMA, or CPA) are highly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in internal or external auditing, preferably with a background in 'Big 4' firms or large diversified conglomerates.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the 2024 Global Internal Audit Standards and local regulatory requirements (*, SOCPA or specific industry mandates).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, advanced negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain objectivity and confidentiality.
