This vital role involves managing kitchen inventory in a catering environment to ensure accurate stock levels and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control kitchen inventory levels for food, beverages, and non-food items.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries for quality and compliance with orders.
  • Ensure proper storage of items according to FIFO, FEFO, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
  • Identify slow-moving and expired items and report accordingly.
  • Coordinate with teams to manage costs and minimize waste.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports for management.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory or store control in kitchens.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and MS Excel.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
