We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Advisor to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Leadership: Provide high-level regulatory legal counsel, ensure compliance with Saudi laws and public sector protocols.
  • Policy & Process Development: Develop and review policies, procedures, and governance documents for regulatory alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary legal interface with regulatory bodies, maintain relationships, and advocate for client interests.
  • Advisory & Training: Advise teams on legal risks, design workshops, and promote awareness of legal obligations.
  • Regulatory Risk Management: Identify regulatory risks and lead audits and inspections.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university, Master's is desirable.
  • 14 years of experience in legal advisory roles, with at least 10 years focusing on regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with Saudi government processes and public procurement law.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Certification: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is a plus. Additional certifications (CISA, CRMA, or CPA) are highly preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in internal or external auditing, preferably with a background in 'Big 4' firms or large diversified conglomerates.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the 2024 Global Internal Audit Standards and local regulatory requirements (*, SOCPA or specific industry mandates).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, advanced negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain objectivity and confidentiality.
