The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Legal Officer. This role is an exceptional opportunity for motivated legal professionals looking to contribute to the delivery of justice. We offer flexible, full-time temporary positions across various locations in the Makkah Region.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Case Preparation: Expertly prepare cases referred to the ODPP for prosecution, including appeal submissions, ensuring timely delivery of justice.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders including defense counsel, solicitors, police officers, victims, and witnesses.
  • Advocacy: Represent the ODPP in prosecuting or defending appeals and handling various court proceedings.
  • Mentorship: Inspire and guide legal support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives enhancing work practices within the organization.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in a State or Territory of Australia. Please indicate your date of admission in your application.

  • Valid KSA driving license and Iqama with transferable option for non saudi.
  • Experience in Wholesale/Distribution/Chemical industry is preferred.
