About the Sales Coordinator Role
Four Points by Sheraton in Makkah is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales & Marketing team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to sales operations within the hospitality industry in the Makkah Region.
Key Responsibilities
The Sales Coordinator will perform a range of general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department. This includes preparing sales-related documents throughout the sales cycle, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders. The role also involves promoting brand awareness both internally and externally, and assembling information packages for clients, which may include brochures and promotional materials. A key aspect of the role is utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty. The coordinator will also be responsible for entering, retrieving, reconciling, and verifying information within sales-related software, including commissions and leads. Additionally, the position requires answering guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to their questions and requests via phone and email.
Professional Conduct and Guest Service
Adherence to all company policies and procedures is essential, ensuring a clean and professional personal appearance and maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information and company assets. The role requires welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication is vital, involving speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also important aspects of this role. Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
The role may involve moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Supervisors may also request other reasonable job duties to be performed.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or *** equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required. No supervisory experience is necessary for this position.
