About the Role
Al Tamimi & Company is seeking a Legal Secretary to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to lawyers, reporting directly to the Office Manager. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers.
- Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics as required.
- Assist associates with processing, amending, and proofreading legal documents, and support courtroom procedures where necessary.
- Participate in the billing process by preparing invoices, managing reimbursable expenses, and tracking client payments and billing queries with the finance department.
- Maintain lawyers' calendars by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, and meetings, and making travel arrangements.
- File, organize, scan, copy, and fax legal documents promptly.
- Screen, direct, and prioritize incoming calls and emails for lawyers.
- Adhere to the Firm’s established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within a legal environment.
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with legal technology such as document management systems, transcription software, and dictaphone usage.

Internal Relationships
The Legal Secretary will primarily interact with lawyers, the Team Leader, various Business Support Teams, and other secretaries within the firm.
