About the Role
Agoda, a prominent online travel platform, is seeking a Workday Functional Specialist with a specific focus on the Time Tracking module. This role is essential for maintaining the efficient operation, scalability, and compliance of our time tracking systems, which directly influence payroll processes and regulatory adherence. While the primary responsibility will be Workday Time Tracking, the specialist will also contribute to other HRIS platforms, reinforcing Agoda's People Technology infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate closely with People and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions, optimize existing processes, and identify new ways Workday and other tools can add value. The role is full-time and based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with relocation assistance provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and ongoing maintenance of the Workday Time Tracking module, including the setup and management of time entry rules, validation logic, work schedules, time calculations, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions that enhance the employee experience.
- Manage reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations to provide accurate insights into time entries, exceptions, overtime, and pay-impact data.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge-sharing resources, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), configuration guides, and process maps.
- Gain opportunities to work across other Workday domains and internal tools, expanding expertise based on project needs.
- Stay informed about new Workday releases and emerging trends in people technology, identifying opportunities for system enhancements and automation.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of other internal tools and technologies beyond Workday within the People Technology ecosystem.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on Workday experience.
- At least 2 to 3 years of focused experience in Workday Time Tracking configuration, rules, and reporting.
- Deep expertise in Time Tracking setup, including time entry codes, calendars, work schedules, validation rules, time calculations (*, overtime, shift premiums, holiday rules), and compliance requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Workday Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields, with the ability to build complex, cross-domain reports and time-related analytics.
- A solid understanding of HCM fundamentals, encompassing both business processes (*, Hire, Change Job, Termination) and configuration concepts (*, condition rules, organizations, hierarchies, custom objects).
- Working knowledge of Workday Security, including constrained/unconstrained roles and segmented security.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process efficiency and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into effective system designs.

- Knowledge of Configuration Concepts (Condition Rules, Orgs, Hierarchies, Custom Objects).
- Experience with Workday Time Tracking, Absence, or Payroll integrations (*, EIBs, PECI, or custom interfaces).
- Exposure to overtime, shift differential, or country-specific labor rule implementations in Workday.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, release management, or regression testing for time-related logic.
- Workday certification(s) in Time Tracking, Payroll, or HCM is preferred.
- Interest in expanding knowledge beyond Workday into other people technology platforms and tools is preferred.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Relocation assistance is provided for this role.
