About the Role
Dopamine Creative Agency is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead its commercial growth in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves driving the agency's expansion by identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities across diverse sectors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in securing new clients and fostering long-term relationships within the Saudi market, serving government entities, Vision 2030 programs, semi-government organizations, defense and industrial groups, and private brands across every industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across all sectors served by Dopamine.
- Build and manage a structured target-account list, prioritizing based on fit and estimated deal size.
- Conduct thorough research on target organizations, decision-makers, budget cycles, procurement processes, and buying signals.
- Execute consistent outreach through email, LinkedIn, referrals, warm introductions, and government procurement platforms such as Etimad and Forsah where applicable.
- Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, reporting progress weekly to the Managing Director and adjusting tactics as needed.
Proposal Development and Client Engagement
- Prepare and submit professional technical and financial proposals in both Arabic and English.
- Coordinate project scope with the creative team and pricing with the Managing Director.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize agency profitability.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships from the initial meeting through onboarding.
- Serve as the commercial point of contact for signed clients during their first 90 days post-contract, ensuring a smooth handoff to the Project Manager for delivery while remaining available for scope changes and upsell opportunities.
- Manage renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and drive long-term account development.
Market Intelligence and Strategic Partnership
- Stay informed on Saudi market trends across all sectors, competitor activities, and Vision 2030 developments that influence opportunity flow.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities in Riyadh to represent Dopamine.
- Provide market feedback to the creative team and Managing Director to refine agency positioning and service offerings.
- Partner with the Managing Director on high-value strategic pitches, contributing commercial ownership, deck development, financial modeling, and follow-up cadence.
Required Experience and Reporting Structure
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in business development, preferably within a creative agency or related industry. This role requires a commercial operator who thrives on full ownership from day one and seeks to significantly influence the agency's growth trajectory. The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate with the shareholder group to establish and expand the commercial function. Internal creative and project management teams will handle delivery, allowing a dedicated focus on hunting, closing, and account development.
Compensation
This full-time position offers a competitive base salary complemented by a commission structure, reflecting performance and contribution to the agency's commercial success.
