A host(ess) is required to work in a prestigious restaurant, with a stylish appearance and an engaging, polite personality, with or without experience. They will be responsible for welcoming guests with a smile and greeting them, managing the waiting lists, and guiding customers to their tables in a professional manner. It is preferred to be fluent in both Arabic and English, with the ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Main tasks:

• Welcoming guests at the entrance of the restaurant

• Efficiently organizing and managing waiting lists

• Guiding customers to their tables and providing menus

• Coordinating with the table service staff and restaurant management

• Responding to customer inquiries and telephone reservations

• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the reception area

• Dealing with complaints and feedback in a professional manner

• Assisting in organizing special events and large bookings

Providing an upscale reception and hospitality experience for clients and visitors, and contributing to maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the office, reflecting the professionalism of the company and its attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Welcoming visitors and clients politely and professionally and directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Offering refreshments (coffee, tea, water, etc.) to visitors and employees as needed.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the reception area and meeting rooms continuously.
- Preparing and organizing the meeting room before and after each meeting.
- Taking care of general office cleanliness (coordinating with the cleaner or doing it as needed).
- Monitoring and coordinating the availability of hospitality supplies (water, coffee, tea, cups, towels, etc.) and informing management when renewal is needed.
- Assisting the team in simple tasks related to hospitality or preparing for meetings.
- Respecting client privacy and maintaining confidentiality of information within the office.

• Proven experience as a hostess or in a similar customer service role
• Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of local culture and customs
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and seating arrangements
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
