Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to management and relevant departments on matters related to the organization’s operations.
  • Interpret and analyze applicable laws, regulations, and legal documents to ensure compliance.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and internal procedures.
  • Oversee and update the legal documents database.
  • Support litigation efforts by reviewing case files and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to implement legal decisions.
  • Maintain and update the legal cases database.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal matters.
  • Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).

Overview of the role
The legal specialist is responsible for providing practical legal support to the business through drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, conducting legal research, supporting compliance and governance, and managing case files, claims, and documents. The role aims to ensure the legality of transactions, reduce risks, and expedite the contracting cycle in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom and the company's policies.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Drafting and Reviewing Contracts and Documents: Preparing, reviewing, and updating contracts and agreements of various types (services, supply, confidentiality agreements, memoranda of understanding, leases, contracts, etc.).
  • Daily Legal Advisory Support: Responding to operational legal inquiries from various departments within the scope of authority, and escalating complex issues to the legal consultant/director when necessary.
  • Governance and Compliance: Supporting internal governance procedures by ensuring the completion and approval of documents in accordance with authorities (DOA) and archiving them in the approved manner.
