About the Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing the commercial aspects of a significant mixed-use development project with an estimated value of 1 billion SAR.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial lead for the project, maintaining direct communication with the client and the project team.
• Provide accurate cost advice and comprehensive reporting.
• Take a leading role in establishing project objectives and priorities, acting as a proactive and decisive team member.
• Ensure effective communication channels are maintained to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
• Liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control.
• Undertake cost management services with a requirement for limited supervision.
• Deliver all work outputs accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Represent Currie & Brown professionally and diligently in all interactions.
• Engage with clients through meetings, negotiations, and correspondence to foster strong working relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is preferred, or candidates working towards it will be considered.
• Significant post-contract experience is required.
• Previous experience on projects within Saudi Arabia (KSA) or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is essential.
