Are you interested in shaping the future of grocery shopping and improving customer experiences? The MENA Grocery team (UFG) is offering an exciting opportunity to become a Quality Specialist, where you will influence the quality of our meat, seafood, produce, and perishable items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review the quality of Meat, Seafood, Fruits, Vegetables, Eggs, and other perishable items during the inbound process.
  • Reject damaged or defective items back to the vendor and document the items accordingly.
  • Audit quality during picking and packing processes.
  • Monitor packaging standards throughout the packing process.
  • Perform daily audits of bins and provide weekly/daily reports to stakeholders.
  • Train store and hub associates on quality standards, SOPs, and packaging.
The role may require occasional weekend work, not exceeding a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluency in Arabic (speaking, writing, and reading).
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • HACCP and PIC 3 certification (SFDA) and knowledge of fruit and vegetable quality specifications is preferred.
