Inspection of raw materials

Conducting inspection operations for wood, fabrics, sponges, and other materials.

Ensuring suppliers' compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

Recording inspection results and notifying suppliers/purchasing department of any non-conformities.

Inspections of products during manufacturing and final inspection

Following up on inspection records at critical stages of sofa and sponge manufacturing.

Conducting sampling inspections of products before delivering them to customers.

Ensuring reporting of any defects and taking necessary corrective actions.

The laboratory and testing

Operating and monitoring laboratory equipment (such as the Martindale pilling tester and sponge hardness tester).

Performing routine tests according to ISO standards and internal criteria.
Documenting results, analyzing trends, and escalating quality concerns.

Quality documentation and reporting

Maintaining inspection and testing records in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Supporting the preparation of quality reports and key performance indicator dashboards.

Assisting in internal audit operations and supplier assessments.

Continuous improvement

Proposing improvements to processes, work instructions, and inspection standards.

Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Supporting training for production staff on quality requirements and best practices.

Requirements

  • GOSI Registration Required or Sponsorship Transfer
  • Requires 2-5 Years experience
  • Expert or Advanced in English

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the Quality Food Safety (QFS) Management System (MS) in our plant.   • Ensure calibrations of QFS control equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma in chemistry, quality control or food safety (natural sciences); fresh graduates are welcome!
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English; proficient in computer usage.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence behaviors without a direct reporting relationship.
