About MATCH Hospitality and the Role
MATCH Hospitality is a leader in designing and delivering hospitality programs for premier global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup™, AFC Asian Cup™, Nitto ATP World Finals, and Formula 1®. We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in Riyadh for a full-time position. This role is integral to the commercial success of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™, a significant tournament hosted in Saudi Arabia for the first time.
Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving hospitality and ticket sales for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective sales strategies, cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring a high level of customer experience. This position reports to the KSA Sales Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a results-oriented, collaborative, and growth-focused team culture.
- Drive the commercialization of hospitality services, diversifying the client portfolio into high-value sectors to align with the company's commercial strategy.
- Increase the contribution of international customers to meet objectives for international expansion, growth, and profitability.
- Lead the planning and execution of all outbound sales efforts, including lead scoring, product launches, campaign management, and sales center events for premium leased products.
- Design and direct B2B prospecting strategies to generate new sales leads, execute outbound premium campaigns, and exceed revenue targets.
- Commercialize high-end products to VIP clients, C-Level executives, key corporate decision-makers, and high-net-worth individuals through outbound calls, appointments, and presentations.
- Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations and special events for both current and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to maintain accurate customer records and manage lead distribution efficiently.
- Provide consistent reporting on sales pacing, outbound metrics, campaign performance, and event recaps through daily, weekly, and overall updates.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience, with a preference for experience in premium seating within the sports and hospitality industry.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in setting up and conducting sales meetings, with the ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.
- A strong understanding of the corporate sector and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with key market stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach and a team-first mentality, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (oral and written) is mandatory. Proficiency in a third language is considered an advantage.
