About the Sales Manager Role

Setra Industrial Group is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and oversee sales and business development activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a strategic focus on Schneider Electric's product portfolio, particularly for project-based sales. The role is based in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales and business development plans aligned with company objectives, focusing on Schneider Electric's LV and MV product portfolio.
  • Achieve assigned annual sales revenue and gross profit targets for Schneider Electric products across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Identify, track, and pursue new project opportunities across all regions of Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar.
  • Develop and maintain a robust project sales pipeline with clear visibility on bid stages, expected closing dates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Secure vendor registrations from key contractors and obtain consultant approvals and specifications for Schneider Electric products.
  • Lead sales activities across all current and future operational regions.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, industrial organizations, government entities, and project owners.
  • Promote and sell Schneider Electric products including MV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, Package Substations, MDBs, ATS, Synchronization Panels, Capacitor Banks, LV Busway Systems, MCCs, LV Distribution Panels, and EcoStruxure™ Power and Energy Management Solutions.
  • Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key decision-makers within contractor and consultant organizations.
  • Manage and lead the sales team, including setting quotas, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring accountability for results.
  • Support collection activities related to project payments and monitor overall commercial performance.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
  • Lead weekly sales meetings and provide strategic guidance to team members.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, emphasizing target achievement and customer focus.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • An MBA or equivalent business qualification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical manufacturing, power distribution, or industrial sales, with a strong emphasis on project-based selling.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role with direct responsibility for managing a sales team and achieving annual sales targets.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling Schneider Electric products, specifically MV Switchgear (PIX), Blokset, SM6, RM6, EcoStruxure, and related LV/MV solutions to contractors and consultants in Saudi Arabia.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding annual project sales targets and leading a team to achieve collective goals.
  • A strong existing professional network within the Saudi contractor and consultant community, including EPC contractors and engineering consultancies.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position. The role requires active engagement across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar, and potentially other project hubs within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
