The Sales Engineer at alfanar plays a crucial role in driving sustainable sales growth by strategically identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value wooden fit-out projects. You will be responsible for leading technical sales activities, cultivating strong client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of premium wooden solutions such as custom joinery, cabinetry, and decorative wall cladding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the wooden fit-out market.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through market research and proactive client engagement.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline by targeting key stakeholders like architects, interior designers, and contractors.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals aligned with client needs.
- Inquiry and Tender Management:
- Supervise and track all incoming inquiries and tenders, ensuring timely responses to clients.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide product knowledge and technical support related to wooden materials and installation techniques.
- Market Presence:
- Organize and participate in meetings, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to increase brand visibility.
- Competitor Monitoring:
- Track and analyze competitor activities, sharing insights with management.
- Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to close deals effectively.
- Customer & Payment Management:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and follow up on payments.
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a related role.
- Strong skills in communication, creativity, customer service, negotiation, research, and sales forecasting.
