Join Our Team as a Social Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare staff to assess social and emotional needs and support patients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to assess social and emotional needs of patients.
  • Develop policies for psychosocial assessment addressing factors affecting healthcare progress.
  • Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards, MOH regulations, and other requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of psychosocial assessments in the patient's medical record.
  • Refer patients or families to community resources for additional support.
  • Establish policies for management of medico-legal cases including substance abuse and domestic violence.
  • Counsel patients individually or in groups for recovery support.
  • Implement short-term counseling and crisis intervention services.
  • Document patient progress toward goals as per professional standards.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide age-specific education to patients and families regarding coping and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress according to treatment plans.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social services or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
  • Valid registration by SCFHS.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Social Services within a hospital setting.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
  • Understanding of common medical conditions to explain to patients.
  • Ability to improve operational efficiency and manage records.
