About the Role

flynas is seeking a dedicated Technical Planning Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and effective planning of aircraft maintenance activities, directly supporting the company's strategic objectives and operational requirements. The Technical Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and monitoring maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards, and optimizing aircraft availability.

Reporting to the Manager Maintenance Planning, this position plays a vital role within the Maintenance Department, contributing to organizational effectiveness through goal attainment. The role also involves collaboration with other operational departments to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare maintenance production schedules that align with the overall strategic plan and business objectives of the Maintenance Department.
  • Update and monitor daily routine and non-routine maintenance plans, including but not limited to Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), scheduled checks, and component removal/replacement.
  • Digitalize day-to-day paperwork, processes, and execution to minimize human intervention and manual input into systems and processes.
  • Supervise maintenance activities to ensure strict compliance with aviation security and cyber regulations.
  • Plan aircraft and component maintenance to meet the airworthiness requirements for aircraft operations, ensuring aircraft are airworthy to operate.
  • Develop optimal maintenance schedules for aircraft tasks and checks to ensure aircraft availability meets operational requirements.
  • Provide planning support and required data to both the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) department and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all tasks and checks are carried out in the most time and cost-efficient manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a related field.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in understanding and applying Aviation Security Cyber Regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
