About the Role
Emerson Automation Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the Fisher Flow Controls Business Unit within the Final Control Group. This role is instrumental in driving business growth and delivering innovative solutions to customers in the Saudi Arabian market. The position is based in Riyadh and involves managing allocated customers across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The role requires a proactive approach, frequent customer visits, and the ability to work autonomously and independently, with a focus on delivering quality products and services.

The Sales Engineer will be key in building and maintaining strong relationships with key leaders and decision-makers, positioning Emerson as a preferred supplier for technology, products, services, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed annual business goals and targets.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with key leaders at all levels within the designated Product and Account Portfolio.
- Leverage existing and develop new relationships with key executive decision-makers to position Flow Controls as the preferred supplier.
- Drive KOB2/3 opportunities throughout covered accounts by acting as a trusted advisor and offering solutions to customer problems.
- Develop, update, and manage the execution of comprehensive account and site plans covering all Flow Controls business units.
- Prepare and present growth plans, forecasts, pricing surveys, and competitor intelligence.
- Collaborate with other Emerson Automation Solutions Divisions to maximize pull-through content.
- Ensure Business Unit plans and key initiatives align with account plans and are implemented professionally and on time.
- Engage BU personnel support as needed to assist key sites.
- Establish and update long-term agreements for services, turnarounds, and parts.
- Analyze and develop plans with the LBP Sales force to drive competitive displacements and upgrades.
- Ensure strict adherence to Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures in all business transactions.
- Develop and manage KPIs on quotes to drive business efficiency.
- Follow up and support the closing of both entity and destination orders.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment policies as laid by the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Instrumentation/Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with control valves.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the power and water sectors.
- Proven sales record.
- Proven background in proactive selling.
- Knowledge of control valves and industry applications.
